In the belief that it is of uppermost importance, particularly for children, to return to some normality of life as quickly as possible,
and, in the knowledge that sporting activities will in all likelihood be down the list of funding priorities, it was resolved
that the Queen Street Cricket Club would direct considerable activities this year to
assisting the children of Christchurch, all of whom, it must now be deemed as disadvantaged.

The Queen Street Cricket Club is therefore establishing a separate fund, which it will distribute under its usual, strict funding criteria.
Obviously, much is needed in Christchurch and the Committee invite you to join us in our efforts.
Our intention is for the majority of the funds to be provided to individuals, schools and clubs in the community who remain in need.
Our aim is to make a difference.

If you should choose to direct your donation to this fund, instead of other general funds, you will receive a receipt indicating your tax exempt donation.
